Got to the dock and launched at 7am.  I get in the boat and the engine is slow going down. Turn the key and nothing.  Back on the trailer and off to auto parts.  Luckily they had 2 batteries the size I needed.  I take out the old ones and put the new in and still won’t turn over.  One of the ground wires was cracked and corroded so back in to auto parts and grabbed a new wire.  Put it in and game on.

So we relaunch and head out. I stop at my spot and my dad drops in.  Hits the bottom and bang keeper.  I drop in and keeper, then another.  Pull back up and dad gets 2 more.  Then conditions changed and only a couple more shorts.  Made a few more drifts and headed in.  First fluke dinner this year.  They wanted killies

Congrats Dennis.  Killies have been the ticket lately but I keep sticking to gulp :headscratch:

Oh and you forgot to bleed one...lol

I got mine on a teaser above a jig, but my dad loves his killies.
