I caught 30 trout tonight - half of them on a rod with 2lb line.  It's super ultralight fenwick.  It's a meatstick compared to that noodle!  lol.    (oh and 6 shad before the trout)

That sucks. I talked to one guy that fished the Navesink and got blown out by 3-4 ft rollers in there. Got no fluke but did get some small blues. He said where he wanted to fluke was un fishable cause of the wind and waves.

We had no problem finding some good spots to tuck in out of the wind  and work a good drift just no bite. Lol.   Maybe the dropping tide didn’t help. Oh well that’s fishing!  You had a nice day buck!
