What's Your Set Up For 6 Day Shotgun Week?

T/C Encore Pro Hunter with Nikon 3-9 BDC

I'm pretty much just bowhunting deer in New Jersey, but there is a 20ga Rem 1100 with a Hastings barrel and Lighfields in the safe, ready to go.

 

Its actually a youth gun I bought when my boys were small to shoot clays and stuff. I put a slip-on recoil pad on it to bring out the L.O.P., bought the Hastings barrel, and now its our slug gun.

Savage 220 with the Bushnell 1x-4X circular reticle ( same scope on my Triumph) This year I switched to 3" Remington Accutips. I had been using Hornady SST's. I was resisting the switch because of the extra cost, but recently signifigantly better shot groups with the Accutips convinced me tha BHC has been right all along.

I'll be working that week.  I usually skip 6-day because I don't want to deal with the orange army.  If I were to go out, it would be the Rem 11-87 rifled barrel with cantilever scope mount.  Tack driver.

I will have my Savage 220, topped off with a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40 (DNZ one piece mounts), Remington Accutip 3"
