Well they squared everything out with the insurance, they screwed up. We have to go back on Monday to see the neurologist. The three of us went out and enjoyed lunch at the : http://www.thecommittedpig.com/

That's horrible that because they screwed up she now can't see a doctor until next week. There's no excuse for that. I hope they apologized profusely and got you the very first appointment on Monday.

 

You can't mess around with brain injuries, but having said that, it is amazing how kids can rebound from things with no long-term effects. Praying for a speedy recovery. And tell her - NO more rough stuff!

Prayers Sent , my younger son had a good egg on his head and He was nauseous and had confusion for a couple weeks . I hope all turns out Good !!!

Know the feeling. My daughter was pushed off a play set at school and was diagnosed with a double concussion. She hit a support pole on initial impact, then bounced the other side of her head off a few steps. DuPont in DE was wonderful. PT and occupational therapy everyday for six months had her functional. It took a solid 2 years until she was completely back to herself. Things went really slow for the first five months, then one day she woke up and started recovering at a rapid pace. Good luck and take it slow the process can't be rushed.
