. I find that while facial hair helps keep face warm and provides natural camo - if u want to be the dominant hunter in the woods and bedroom - it's also important to manscape all points south of the neck. It helps reduce odor for deer hunting and most woman today like a smooth playing field. An added effect is that when you clear the underbrush a tree looks much more "prominent". I shouldn't reveal all my secrets on here but I am in a giving mood.

Razor is fine for everything. Never had a problem.

 I don't even use a razor on my face or head because of the razor burn, no way I'm putting one to my yambag.  I just use a beard trimmer and buzz my head down to stubble.  In the summer, I trim my beard down to about 1" and then in the winter I let it grow. I always buzz my head though.   Once a week. The rest gets buzzed every couple weeks
