First bird down

After several years and every possible way to avoid killing a turkey I finally got my first gobbler.  Got him this morning at 7:30 am.  Quiet morning  until around 7 when some toms sounded off.  This guy saw my 2 hen decoys and came across the field looking for love.  Shot him at 25 yards. At check in 22.4 lbs, 9 3/4 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Proud of my first bird.
