Scouted 50 Acres

Friend of mine got permission to hunt 50 acres, he wants it more for bear then deer, it's in the Blairstown area. I found one signed of a bear a large log rolled over and the claw marks could be seen, when it was done I have no idea, then we walked out thru a field that was still wet, the grass/weeds are a foot high, we came across what was clearly a bear walking thru. The owner saw a few small ones over the months, late spring he saw a very large bear. We put out corn, donuts and kool-aid, with two cameras looking over the bait. He will head over next week to see what shows up

My friend was in the area so he decided to check the cameras and rebait, there was a small bear on the bait, if any pictures he will view them later tonight

It's a small bear, he won't shoot it, but after just 3 days of having bait out its encouraging
