War has been declared

My neighborhood has seen the skunk population boom in the last few years.  So far I’ve been a good boy and only put out deterants like moth balls, ammonia and critter ritter. I’ve also secured my fence line. The sumbiches keep cutting through my yard.

Well last night our 1 1/2 year old yellow lab got sprayed. At this point I’m done being a nice boy and trying  to keep the skunks away the politically correct way. There will be dead skunks. Every last one I can get. This also needs to be a covert operation as a few of my neighbors just wouldn’t understand.

There are are insurgents inside the perimeter and I need to defend the home front any way possible. ( That doesn’t end with me in jail)

That's the worst thing that can happen.  Wait and see,,,,I mean SMELL, every time your dog gets wet or give him a bath the smell will come out again. My lab got sprayed years ago and that's what happened.

Good luck removing them

:agree: I've  been down this road too

Hose him down outside and use lots of that fancy dog perfume. My Westie got sprayed by a skunk caught in my chipmunk trap a few months ago, that's what we did.

The wife and I washed her last night with Dawn dish soap, baking soda and tomato juice last night. It took away 95% of the smell but there is a little lingering with her. Thank the lord I live fairly close to a 24 hour Walmart.

Traps and "CB" Caps work wonders:whistling:

Ephesians Chapter 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Joshua Chapter 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Alaskan brother put me on to these they use them for Pinking Camp Squirrels. Low velocity super quite short travel. Along with their Silencers, hardly a puff is heard.  Since the chicks went missing they have gotten a workout.  Bit louder in Pistol than Rifle.
