Dremel tool

Just out of curiosity, what do you use your dremel for?  I assume just about everyone has a Dremel, I've had more than 1 and for many years. 

Funny thing is I rarely use it, and when I do use it, I am typically disappointed in the outcome. 

Post up your common uses for this tool, maybe I'll find something that it is good for!

I can’t even begin to list the many uses I use it for but it’s great tight space option for a hacksaw, grinder, polisher, sander and general cut work. Latest thing I just used mine for was making a wad slitting tool out of pvc pipe to cut unslit 12 gauge wads for a friend.

I use on dog's nails

Mine takes up space in my cabinet.  Think the last time I used it was to cut off the end of nails sticking through a board.  Dogs would freak out if I tried using it on their nails.  They head for the hills when they hear the vacuum cleaner, but I know of people that do that.

I do a lot of card access systems  and we use them with a cut off wheel to cut steel door frames to install locks and door strikes.

I hardly use mine. I’ve used some at work for working on door strikes but I feel like the multi tool is the new dremel just better

I use it mostly for engraving stuff, like tools, and use it to do the dogs nails.

I used mine with a cut-off wheel to make a bunch of these.

I use mine all the time.  Stripped Ball joint nuts, chain sharpener, wire wheel for hard to reach places like inside snow blower, router for a Benelli wooden forend, fiberglass work, drywall cutting.  Lots of uses.

dremel is one tool I would never be without. got a cordless and corded.
