Glad it's over today. No Doe. Couple small scrub bucks. Neighbors shooting them all.  Hunters everywhere I go.  Guys setting up right on top of me.  State manages deer like the rest of government screws up everything they touch.  

Is that enough bitchin', Jack, to get'r done today?

Found a fresher scrape and rub. Haven't been in this spot since before bear season was closed. Can't be any worse than anyplace else.

I was just bitching to myself about how much i hate deer hunting and a 8pt and spike following a doe just walked past, complaining does work!

I am complaining home for a week sick. Not that sick but hard to hunt with cough and sneezing. Almost better.

Ravens have kept me company. Love hearing them talk. They like the warmth of roosting on the microwave tower at night.  Wonder if it makes the corn in their belly pop.  I'd  like to raise one and teach it to say "deer over here"

Not much at black river walked by one in tree . There was a kid bow hinting right in front no orange on almost got shot couldn't figure out why we where Pheasant hunting.  . People already shooting before time sane shit. Good luck
