Just had 2 bears run by me...

Good crosseind if they come from my left. Bad crosswind if they come from my right. Should be good if anything comes from behind. 3 big scrapes as soon as I got off the liberals path. 30 years ago that was a good spot where they came out of a sanctuary right at dark. Hope it's still as good

Feels like early bow season in September

Up in a tree in Readington. Pulled the camera this afternoon. Trail has been very active all week the last 2 hours of light. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

One of the scrapes and rub just past me on the trail. Couple more scrapes in front of me. Sitting to the last second.

I hate this weather also. If there was not so much activity right around sunset I would be sitting in my backyard with a campfire and a beer.

Well seen good deer movement tonight. But unfortunately all at 150 yards. Seen 2 big 10’s and several doe. They came to the fields but not the trail I was on. The 10’s came from across the street. Walked around a lower field. Bird dogged a doe. Then back to the safety of the houses.

Quiet for me

....saw a nice buck walking in. However, only saw 2 bears & a doe on stand. Best part of tonight was the wings at Wits End Tavern afterwards

I happen to see a buck which I thought I saw 3 but it was the same guy 3x lol
