Delicious! The brown sugar added just enough sweetness to the meat but wasn't sickening sweet. As for BBQ sauce, I only used just enough to coat the cubes of meat (probably about 1/3 cup I would say - I didn't measure) and it came out perfect. Too much BBQ sauce and I bet it would overpower the smoky flavor you just spent hours cultivating :D 

It came out great! 

I guess you could do this with venison, no? I don't even know what part of the cow this chuck roast was from :) I assume the rear leg/ham?? I don't know butcher terms for animal parts - I just know enough to be able to cut 'em up and eat 'em. :)
