If guys let bucks get a little older we would see tons of bigger bucks. This buck was 6.5 years old, if you look at states out in the midwest that hunters are only allowed to shoot one of two bucks a year they get bigger. NJ can grow some unbelievable bucks if we as hunters allow it to happen. I believe that the average buck killed in NJ is 1.5 years old. Can you imagine what would happen if we were only given two buck tags instead of the seven or what ever we get in this state.
