If you must drag, this is a great way to do it. It frees up your hands and you can really lean into your stride. As mentioned before, try to get the head and some shoulders up off the ground to minimize resistance.

I had one similar and didn't think it helped much, dead weight is dead, dragging sucks period as you getting older

I wish I had a quad and a place to use it to pull them out, but I hunt gap, stokes, worthington,  usally off the beaten path . So I use a heavy duty large garbage bag, lay the deer on top of bag, some rope  around the bag and deer and away we go.  It's cheap, lightweight,

One in my pack always I hunt at a base of a mountain in pa in a swamp.  If I kill it’s a haul of a drag mile plus up hill. This has saved me. If there’s snow it’s even better.  Also the butt out tool for gutting has saved me time and kept it clean.

Anyone that owns a safety harness already has one of these. No need for a separate purchase. There is a loop in the low center of your back and they provide the drag strap just for this reason. They are a huge help if you don’t have a JetSled or quad or buddy to haul them out with.

Yes , current laws have any Ebike operating at 750 watts or less considered no different than a bike .

I've wondered if something like this would be allowed in WMA, beaches, etc...

I don't think it would fall under an ATV or UTV.

I use one too. I put my gear on ( climber and stuff) ride back to the truck and dump the gear in the truck. I ride back to the deer and throw it in the trailer .
