20 degree temp rise since yesterday and wind blowing in all directions. Back where I saw the big buck but haven't seen anything moving this morning, yet

Back in zone 3.  Had two does laying down beside a scrape in dark.   Just before 7, had two nice bucks come from different directions then both proceeded to track does that were here earlier.  It was light enough to see good beams on both but to dark to shoot.  Very warm now

Got a couple small game hunters shooting.  Sounded like they started by my truck and are getting closer. 10 miles of rd and they hunt here. Don't know what they're shooting so much at. Haven't seen a squirrel or chipmonk all morning. Going to other side of this ridge from them before they get any closer. Don't want to be mistaken for a squirrel. Hope the deer are headed for the other side too

First morning in the stand in Ohio. Bumped 3 does on the way in this morning

Dropped down a few tiers on the other side. Found 3 fresh scrapes and a couple beech saplings rubbed up. Set up a blind in a pile of rock overlooking the bench for Wednesday

Heading out in a few to zone 2 blind see what moving before rain hit . Spent morning butchering my doe from yesterday.  Good luck all

Going to get back out before it rains to put a camera along the scrape line.  Want to at least get a pic of this buck and see what time he runs that ridge

I'm trying, but he didn't get big by being stupid.  He's running both sides of that ridge, swamps below on each side, and on top.  Going to be lucky to be in the right place at the right time.  Trying to keep up with the latest scrapes.

Spent some time swapping sd cards and scouting this morning. Found a nice scrape line with 3 distinct different tracks spread wide. So dont know whats on their head but they must be heavy weights as far as body. Set up cam, check it wednesday and set up stand if something worth shooting.  Tons of tracks. Best sign I have this year so far. Will be in my stand in bout an hour for afternoon hunt. Good luck to anyone out today.
