I am all for creating the best possible habitat for ALL wildlife, I don't mind invasive species. I am also not educated on the topic, so I could be completely wrong.

Reeds are great cover that bucks love and Russian Olives seem to really attract them. So I will gladly take some invasive species

Native plant species in my opinion should  always be the preferred vegetation. Native plants will for sure come back year after year.
