48 outside. 36 in morning.venison chili simmering. Fire blasting for first time this fall. Mako assuming the position with his antler chew.  Leaves are falling (Ash particularly). Red oaks dropping nuts like crazy. Whites oaks being fickle as usual and dropping nothing at all. Love this time of year !

It's cool here in Virginia. My son and I will be out early tomorrow morning for striper fishing and then will be out for the opener of archery season in the afternoon. Great time to be out in the woods spending time with the people that we love.

Wednesday to Thursday it dropped from 91 to 55 like it saw a State Trooper.
