Last Backstrap....Season Cant Come Fast Enuff!!

I think I have just enough to get me through to the season including a backstrap left. Your dish does look delicious.

Yup I thought the season opener was the 7 .but now I think I will try fall goose. The later start will give me time to try something different.

I just got into the last deer....had meatloaf last night. Going to pull out a back strap for Wednesday night. Then some ground meat for meatballs  Saturday.  Love the way Big Dog's labels everything in the cryo.....hope Big Chris is back at it this season!

Looks good, backstrap is done perfectly but what were you thinking with that bag of frozen, mixed veggies? It's summer...in NJ...fresh garden vegetables are everywhere. Gardeners everywhere are offended.

I know... I was a lil embarassed with that one but I forgot we had just made the last of our fresh veggies the night before.
