Co9ngrats to guys who scored this AM

I saw 14 deer this morning. Had a 30 yard pin on a big doe but I was twisted so I decided to wait for 10 more steps. She made 4 and bedded down in front of me but in high grass, giving me no shot. I waited but 10 minutes latter she smelled me and the game was over. Good morning, with steady light rain, thank god for the tree umbrella.

up at 0400...pouring rain in Monmouth County...back to bed for a hour...0500 still pouring. Checking gear and going to sit this afternoon. Good luck all!

Of course would of just had a wonderful wide open broadside  20yd shot at a nice 6 point, but I need a doe first...grrrr🤬

Shot a big old long nose doe at 10:45.

 

I stayed in the truck until 8:00 when the rain finally started to lighten up a bit. Saw deer within 20 mins. Total of about 10-12 deer this morning.
