So my son and I plan on getting out for a morning bow hunt in zone 50 for the final day of 2017.

 

I think I am crazy. It's gonna be 0 with the windchill at 7 am. [emoji15][emoji13][emoji13][emoji13] It's amazing what we will do for a deer.

I'm planning to get out with my bow tomorrow.  Got my '18 license and a pack of Hot Hands last night, so I'm good to go.  Can you blame me?  My wife is a Mummers fanatic, and she'll be watching the parade ALL DAY!!!  That'll drive me out of the house no matter how cold it gets.

So we ended up not going. I got up at 4:15. Tried to wake him. He grunted. I got dressed and made coffee and tried to wake him again. He grunted let me sleep. I took my clothes off and went back to bed to be woken by the wind sounding like a freight train at 6. My wife told me the temperature was 10 with a negative 5 windchill.

 

I was glad to be back in bed. Happy New Years!
