Blind set for Youth Day

Deployed the blind earlier today for my son's Youth Day hunt next week. We will be less than 100 yards from the roost so I raked a path leading to the blind to sneak in before sunrise quietly..The last pic is one of the small opening I cut in one of the blind windows which proved to be very useful last year with the field pod.. Each window had its own slits to position his gun barrel through depending on which way the birds come in to eliminate movement. Bringing in the orange material that morning for visibility.  Good luck to all going out with the kids...It can't come soon enough for us, lol.

I usually put an orange vest visible from all sides on top of the blind even though it is private property....

Definitely good practice, but is it required?  Guess I should know this, but........
