Black coyote on trailcam?

My taxidermist had one mounted waiting for a customer pickup once.  Looked cool chasing a snow shoe rabbit.

I saw one Monday morning in Tewksbury that was pretty Black, thought it was a German Shepard for a second. Never saw one like that. It was 10 minutes behind an 8 pointers the same run. Was hoping they both were going to come back to me so I could shoot the yote but they never did.

@readington I think I saw the same guy Tuesday morning... did a triple take while driving and thought it was a German Shepherd on someone’s lawn.. thought to myself why tf would someone let their dog outside alone without a collar. Never knew these existed. Pretty cool sight.

Saw one in Orange County NY, took too long deciding if he was a dog or coyote. As soon as it was too late, I was sure he was a coyote.

Saw one just outside Mullica Hill as well. Running with another yote.

I had a black one in Zone 25  at 30 yards during Archery Season years ago but couldn't get it to stop for shot.  Beautiful animal.
