Let's fire this puppy up!  I know I'm a little early, but I couldn't wait!

Some of you are already sleeping, some of you will be up like it's the night before Christmas and might not even sleep!

Either way, enjoy tomorrow, hunt safe, and shoot straight!

4am and I just took out the dogs...72 degree with 99% humidity and a 71 degree dew point...no thanks, I had every intention of going out but this is just disgusting weather..

I'm 20' up and glad I got out. Opening day is a tradition that I keep, despite the weather. I'll probably be home by 10am with the heat though and daddy duties this afternoon.

 

My report so far is an owl, song birds and some squirrels. This spot always was better late morning though. Bottom line - better than work and coffee tastes much better at altitude. [emoji6]

I woke up late (too many pots in the fire) and Matt's engine on his car blowing yesterday and me finding a wounded racing pigeon last night wasn't In the script, but I'm here now, zone 8. Saw half a dozen deer during my 30 minute drive. Good Luck Everyone !!!
