Set up a double ladder stand with my buddy ASFTAX earlier today, this afternoon we used our climbers and set up @150 yards away from each other. Less than 10 minutes later he sends me a text saying he killed an 8 pointer! He stayed on stand until he was dark not to mess me up, lots of deer moving tonight....

 

He said he will post it this weekend.

Got in the stand tonight at 4 o clock. After getting set up in my climber, I put out some buck lure on wicks. When I was trying to open the bottle, the lid broke off so I was forced to dump all of the lure on the ground. I no sooner texted my buddy, when I looked up and saw this buck heading my way. At ten yards he turned broadside and started flehming. I drew back as he passed behind a tree, and I was able to make a perfect double lung shot. Nice way to finish off the regular season. Always better to be lucky than good! Thanks again for the help LPJR!
