When I first started to hunt we had a pair. Great dogs.

I miss my Brittanys. I have been hunting over labs and they are a disaster with pheasant compared to pointing dogs.

When I had my labs they would rival any pointer.  My labs even pointed.  You are definitely hunted over the wrong labs.

I have a 1 yr old chocolate lab.  His mom was a flusher dad a pointer .   My dog points ..   He stays close no need for e collar.   Now he retrieves every bird I shoot and brings it to my side.  Rock solid on points .   Love taking him out and watching him work.

I have a chocolate lab that points. She just picked it up one day training.  I give her the command to put tge bird up

I guess you are right. The three guys with the three dogs must have the "wrong" Labs. I don't know if there is such a thing as a "wrong" Brittany though. Some are a little better than other but not "wrong".
