Took a quick walk on my property today. 

We did pretty darn good .

Nice. I went out on Sunday for a few hours and nothing.  Got in the car and drove 5 miles and watch a buck walk thru someone yard.  So I will need to give it more time.

It's still early. Half the bucks here are still carrying one side and a a small few still have both. 

The 2 bigger sheds are from last year. 

Don't know how we didn't find them. 

Pretty sure the 2 bigger ones are dead. 

Passed them both this year late October and they both vanished.

this year I passed him while hunting another buck and he went missing

here's the wacky one I passed early too and he went missing also

He found 2. 

One of the bigger ones and one of the smaller ones but I always make sure he gets them. 

He scoops them right up when he sees them.

Cool- something Ive never done (yet) is shed hunt.  Roughly, when , on average do bucks tend to shed down here in NJ? Its later further south, right? NY its mostly Jan, I believe .

Usually I wait until around the 3rd week of February to really start looking but I've been seeing a handful of half racks the last couple days so I cruised thru my shed Hotspots to see If I could find anything. 

I will give it a few more weeks to hit it hard but they are dropping now.
