 Heavy rain later in the morning..Not conducive to water hole hunting…

 

Did see some doe prior to rain 

Then a few hours later a good buck came in and I made a bad shot… Liver /Gut

that was 3 hours ago haven’t looked yet 

he was in bad shape hunched up hard time walking..

May wait till after dinner to go look Hope the yotes don’t chew him up

Looked last night no luck… took the trail 

500 yards which I never would have expected… we decided to head back after daylight and look again…

by the time we were done last night I could hardly walk.. my knee had swelled up considerably.

Vultures should make it easier today as well one of the ranch hands has a blood hound that we may try as a last resort…
