Minus 33 socks

@hammer4reel Smartwool makes ski/snowboard socks that should come up way higher than any of their other socks.  Some of them have extra padding for the ski/sbowboard boots, but others do not.

They have a sock finder section on their site for all types of activities .

Thars how I decided on the ones I purchased .

but due to the width and size of my feet , their socks don’t come close to being over the calf .

the minus 33 are much longer

Same here. I got sucked in to trying them as well. Comfortable but they slide down my calf easily. Not impressed at all. Waste of money for me.

Expedition weight 

 

big difference  in overall length between minus 33 and smart wool 

middle pair are smart wools from them . Bottom pair are Real Tree from Walmart .

not to hard to tell start wool is making those socks for them . In hand they are exactly the same

Good call on the socks hammer. I order a pair along with the over the calf liners. They do come higher then all the other main brands that claim they are a “ over the calf “sock.  They usually slide down and end up bunching up in my boot. Tried these on and they fit great. Will test next week for ducks and in a few weeks on the ice. Thanks.
