First Retrieves!

11 months of training paid off. Raven made her first retrieves today. Got a beautiful pair of wood ducks. If anyone has any taxidermist recommendations, I will take them.

 John Helm in Somerset is my go-to. Have had him do several birds and referred many to him.

Congratulations. Great looking dog. So I’m not too far from you.  I look at how realistic the mounts look. So in south Jersey I would go to ribs taxidermy in turnersville. If I lived up north it would be Jersey Jays taxidermy. I’m very picky with who I want to do my mounts. I did have a red fox mounted by wildlife expressions in Tuckerton. Turned out amazing.  Sandy specializes in predators. I did hear she was amazing at waterfowl .
