Semi live Antelope hunt… Maybe

So I’m heading to New Mexico in the morning to hunt Pronghorn.

Heres the hiccup… two days ago while checking trail cameras by the house I stepped on a wet stick under wet leaves and crashed to the ground twisting my newly replaced knee and landing on the point of my shoulder…

Turns out the knee is fine but I bruised the shoulder pretty good.

As of yesterday I’m not able to lift my bow arm without pain.

I was prescribed a steroid, been icing it every couple hours and taking a 800 mg ibuprofen… while it’s better today than yesterday I haven’t attempted to draw my bow back.

I plan on taking a pain killer each morning before hunting so I can hopefully get the one shot… wish me luck…

Damn, that sucks right before heading on that hunt!  Good luck and hope the shoulder recovers quickly!  Maybe time for a crossbow, WITH A CLICKER of course!

Glad you caught that before it became a disaster, and if all else fails,  .  .  .  well there are too many jokes about the name Destiny, so I won't go there!
