Looks like an awesome trip, Brent was up there all last week and went up mt Washington and stayed on lake Winnipesaukee, he took my boat up to bass fish but he said the whole area was over run with rock bass and caught hundreds of them, said the girls had fun catching them though

Were the brookies stocked or native ? what's the biggest brookie you caught ?

These are wild trout including the small rainbows, but only brookies are native to NH. Biggest wasn’t all that large. Maybe 10”, but these are higher altitude streams with a low biomass of food. I caught tons of 4” to 6” brookies all day long. A few of our crew did catch larger stocked rainbows up to maybe 14”. There are apparently also some browns in the system, but I don’t know if they are stocked or wild. It’s not good brown trout water, but some could do well in some of the deep pools.  I’m fairly sure I raised one large brown on a streamer in one of those big confluence pools where two channels came together.
