Lively linesiders

was out with Rob on his boat today .

 

Pretty consistent bite most of the day today .

had them on spoons , Shad’s , stretches , jigs , livies , top waters and plugs today .

LOTS  of nice bass released to play another day .

. Crazy day weather wise , but rain held off for us .

I remember when Al tell a  story said it was stupid fishing. Nice to see he was right, wish it were the same for the sea trout.

Great day! I was on the water early and had them pretty good but they shut off on me. Moved around a lot mid bay but did not venture out further. Had a mix of good marks but the wind against tide was not good for presenting a fly. Unreal how early it is in the season and the fish behavior. Normally these fish are flooded in the back bay. Seems like we are a few weeks ahead of schedule already. Going to be interesting to see how the rest of the migration goes.

Temps in the bay are above 60.

pretty much right on time with bass switching on to bunker there .

just looked my pics from last spring , had fish in same exact spot 1 year ago tomorrow

I alway had a log book, to look back on,wind temperature tide  etc.

Should be good . Rob is out now , said fog was ridiculous.

cleared a little but with predicted winds evening could be ugly .
