Ripe Odor

Picked up a pungent smell. Didn't  smell organic or like anything dead I've ever laid my nose on. Was burning my nose hairs the closer I  got.  My first bear sighting today. Maybe next time I come back here I can get a closer look.

Interesting find. Can’t say I’ve ever found a dead bear. Other then shooting them or road kills. I wonder what killed it.

Hope it wasn't  another bear . Could be troubling back here. Just kicked up a really nice buck less than 10yds in front of me in the high swamp bog grass. Hope I  have him on camera. Not far to go to the camera

found one dead while hunting the paulinskill wma a couple years back . right next to a big ole bait pile

The buck I kicked up was also on my camera this morning.  It was the only time he showed himself in a month.  Didn't go into the minerals.   Been getting mostly doe in the minerals, couple small bucks a few times, one pic of a bear.

Reminds me of this one deer drive i was one. Some punk or punks left 3 deer carcasses along a trail into Moore's Medows.. I was a driver and got dropped off near the stench.. was dri heaving for 20 mins until they started the drive. Horrible

Nasty smell! Almost as bad as when you leave your worms in the car  trunk for a few hot days!
