What size conibear do I need to trap a groundhog???

Please take notice to all of the above comments. And if you fail to listen and are foolish enough to use a bodygrip, not only are they illegal to use out of season, and out of the water, and you probably do not have a trapping license. But guaranteed, you will end up with a neighbors or your own dog or cat. Or worst yet- a little kid with a bodygrip on his arm. These are some of the reasons for these laws in this overcrowded state.

Even legally set traps I always worry I’ll get someone’s dog. Don’t want that on my conscience so I go deep in the woods for my line.

A well placed .177 pellet moving 1,300fps at about 11 yards will do the trick. Or so I’ve been told….

Thanks for the info.  Trying to get a shot with the pellet gun but, so far, no joy.  Radishes and lettuce are gone!!!!

Cover the wire on the floor with grass, leaves, dirt whatever is around the trap
