Hard Earned bass on fly….

Beautiful day on the bay except it looked like the English Channel so the boats staging to take the beaches in France….. zigged and zagged all over. Marks galore but nothing would chew. Trollers criss crossing non stop. Drift sucked and could not get the fly lines to fish right. Finally at about noon things turned on like a light switch and we got them to take the fly and we landed some nice fish. Hard earned that’s for sure…. 6 hours without a bite was rough…18 inch fluke on fly took the cake!
