Fried white perch….no bread crumbs, so I used Stove Top stuffing mix…OMG!!

My bro gave me some white perch n we didn’t have any bread crumbs…so I put filets in flour…dunked in egg mix…n coated them in some partially crushed up Stove Top stuffing mix…& fried em up!!
 

I couldn’t stop eating these things and almost forgot to snap a pic!!

I need to try this w venison, chicken, etc cutlets!!

We do same but use bread crumbs for  fried cutlets ,venison ,chicken ,veal or fish . I will try  stove top   Good stuff

Definitely worth a try!  I spent a few minutes pressing down on bag of stove top to crush em smaller…& I figured it was enough after a few mins even tho there were some big crumbs left….turns out these bigger crumbs are what makes it extra special n popping with CRUNCH!!!

Sounds good! My go to fish fry breading is Club crackers. They’re salty, buttery, and perfect. Stove top is an interesting idea I’ll have to try

Don't be afraid. Stove Top Stuffing is bread crumbs in a different form.
