7:25-5.25 White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) fall bow season

(a) Duration of the fall bow season is as set forth at (a)1 and 2 below. Legal hunting hours shall be 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

1. Opening the fourth Saturday prior to the last Friday in October through the last Friday in October, in zones in Regulation Sets 0, 1, 2, and 3; and in Zone 54. (Oct 2 - Oct 29)

2. Opening the second Saturday in September through the last Friday in October, in zones in Regulation Sets 4 through 8; and in Zones 37, 39, 53, 66, and 68. (Sept 11 - Oct 29)

For me it’s summer vacation fishing in OCMD.  Hopefully some early season bow hunting in September then my first child arrives just as the rut begins so that’s the biggest countdown for me.
