Walk Today with the 16 Gauge

The Feather Superlight spoke today on the walk and a rooster came home with me. Of course it would not have happened without the point and retrieve of my GSP. The bird flushed in a field of high grass. After my shot, which I thought was good by the way the bird reacted, the bird kept flying into a wooded area. My dog follow. When I reached the woods she was holding the dead  bird. "dead bird flyin"

 OldPiney Woods, your GSP looks a lot like mine and I hunt with a 16ga also and I had the same thing happen to me this past Sat at Colliers Mills.

RPK, there are not many of us that use  and appreciate 16 gauge double guns.
