My herbs went all jungle-like on me. I had to cut them all way back. I put up 2 ice cube trays full of chopped basil and olive oil (pesto base) and have a bunch of parsley, oregano, basil, and sage drying

Did another 15 jars of dill pickles today, still picking tons of zucchini and yellow squash, and some cucumbers to go with the pickles. This is almost daily.

My zucchini plants are starting to die off, seems pretty early for that, time to plant the second crop.  every one of my long hot pepper plants died, and my jalapeno plants are starting to drop their leaves now, don't get it. They looked very good last week, and have been getting water regularly. The dead long hots are at the front of the pepper row and you can see the others beginning to die off.

Utilized my "air space" for the sugar snap peas.....they grew tall....but I noticed the damn house finches, the whole family, that I allowed to nest on laundry room door, have been eating the pea flowers!!  They did this to me before and I had forgotten about it!!  Lol. Peas are coming out soon and in goes cukes and eggplant....romaine is ready, tomatoes are ok, carrots are getting bigger, sunflowers are big, blueberries are coming in, and first year strawberry plants are sending shoots out from the mother plant......still undecided if I will establish any of those shoots.....maybe a few just to show the boy how it's done!

Put some giant pumpkins on the hill outside the garden.  Had to remove 5 mock orange bushes, roots and all, so the pumpkins have room.   Been wanting to reclaim that area of yard and grade off that hill better.  Everything is doing good.  Picking on the second planting of lettuce.  Tomatoes that came up in the garden on their own are catching up to the store bought plants.  Pole beans have the fence covered.  Picked some bush beans yesterday.  Have had my first pickle,  radishes.  Peppers are a good month ahead of when I usually get them. Zucchini, melon doing good, and spaghetti squash is about to climb the fence over the pole beans.  Picking blueberries and black caps.  I can probably start feeling around in the dirt for potatoes.

Some cucumbers will stay in the greenhouse and will climb the wire.

Kale started front edge, will add additional rows with lettuce and spinach as the first plantings get farther along.  Use to grow broccoli here as it was easy to lay over a cabbage white exclusion net.
Liking this greenhouse design...
Looks like cement reinforcement mats on the sides. Next year!
