Who Gun Hunted This Year?

Last couple of years have been bow only.  Nothing beats the woods of October.

I gun hunted Illinois this year.

Barely even hunted Nj. Im just about done here

Gun hunted out west this year, first time in Wyoming it was awesome. Hunted muzzleloader and 6 day in jersey. Also hunted NY with the gun. Normally majority bow but this year mostly gun.

I was able to get out to hunt one day and it was the first in 2 years..., thanks to Stratus, and it was with the shotgun on his land, flat and easy, was not able to even go with the bow for 2 years. Next year will be different. All from the ground now though

Sorry to say Have not Hunted for Past    12 + years.  Been doing some serious Fishing & Bit of Clamming - Both Fresh and salt waters Surf- Raft. Shore. Not into Boat rides anymore like the relaxing ways better. Even more, once my Grandsons got involved. The oldest is very Serious and successful fisherman.  

Would love to take them to Alaska but guess that will be up to my son do to my health issues. 

MY Only Shooting is at Solomons Trap. Dix Pistol Rifle & Skeet.  Garden State rang Pistol. with My Daughter who outshoots me.  

Hope Members get Together come this Spring for another Rim Fire Shoot at Asumpink. or some mixed shooting at Dix. Will call it a Memorial Shoot.

After having my area trampled and ruined all summer and fall due to a "depredation permit" I really didn't bow hunt much . I got a little fed up , and actually picked up a slug gun this year . I've been out maybe a handful of times . I'm actually out as I type this on a local farm praying my season can end right . Deer are in the field next door let's hope they close the distance . Plenty of time .

Found myself with the bow more than the gun this season, may be a new trend!

First time in probably 4-5 years I took the gun out. Only took it out because I destroyed my bow sight and was too lazy to fix it. Don't plan on gun hunting for deer unless it's the last choice.

Just with the muzzleloader for a special area 8 day hunt, and a couple days during 6 day.  Went with the crossbow during the rest of the gun seasons, and felt a little out of place.  The shotguns haven't seen daylight since I got a muzzleloader about 15 years ago..
