Hiked in a mile and got settled by 6:30 AM. I was sitting in my chair for about 10 minutes and I heard a squirrel rustling in the leaves to my right. Then at 6:55 I heard what sounded like a deer trotting up the hill to my left. It kept coming closer so I stood up and got ready. It presented itself and I looked in my scope to see if it had at least 3 points on one side. It did! So as soon as I saw its vitals I shot and dropped him at 50 yards. What a quick hunt! My dad and I dragged it out the mile and were back to the truck before the snow started falling. I was the only shot up there. I'm very thankful my dad and I have had a great deer season this year. Young man that is a great buck  and good story., Congrats.   Just remember, always handle your gung like its loaded.
