There is a story with this bird. Most of you have never seen it because in USA it can only be found along beaches of California and it is listed there as uncommon. I found this bird on Sandy Hook and I had no idea I had something special until I took a closer look at home. A quick internet search revealed I photographed the only confirmed case by Audubon Society of Elegant Tern in NJ.. He was at the tip of Sandy Hook for a couple of weeks.
