Turkey permits

I got 20 A and 20A, which is exactly what I wanted. I'll shoot for another A and an E. Wasn't going to look at the E, but now my son wants to go out and sit in the blind with me and I doubt if mom is going to let him miss school....I would...but that's because Dad's are cool :-).

You can always bring him to school late.

I'm your Huckleberry :devious:

I see that we can shoot coyotes during turkey season as well.

I may need to check the regs, but incidental harvest is ok. I've had coyotes come in on me a few times.

Got zone 2A. Will buy zone 1 also, as there were 5 toms running around the property I had permission to hunt during the fall. Hoping to fill the freezer and make numerous turkey dishes instead of just roasting one.

Yup - yotes can be taken incidental to turkey seasons. I almost had one myself this past fall - he was just out of range though. With the yote population taking off, I wouldn't be surprised to hear about more of them taken during turkey season.

You can shoot them incidental to turkey hunting as others have stated. However, you cannot actively call a coyote into your setup. Although, if your calling is half decent, the yotes will come to you.
