You might be surprised.  I was watching a nice 10 pointer, just out of range, when a smaller 6 pointer came trotting along.  That 6 pointer was all fired up, it looked like it was possessed and looking for something to kill.  When the 6 spotted the 10 it came running full speed straight at it.  That poor 10 looked terrified, it tucked it's tail and took off running.
