  1. I see this bachelor group almost every morning on my way to work. But there still isn’t any deer in Zone 5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When you hit them at close range, they splatter like a ground hog with a 30-06. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have one as well. I get yelled at all the time by the wife, for trying to shoot them while flying. Who really wants to shoot a sitting duck. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I know it’s about birds, but I let a few people rabbit hunt over my dogs, I stay with them. I also don’t allow anyone to jump shoot a rabbit out of the brush, dogs MUST be running it. If the rabbit is shot and the dog hasn’t run it, they never go again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you, these are my first weir creeks, I’ve had quite a few beagle, I grew up hunting over them, and have trained all with my dad. I enjoy training them, and watching them progress. My dad has an 8 year old they will be running with next year. My 12 year old is retired, and I lost a 6 year old in his prime to Lyme. my dogs and my dads ran great together for years. I thank you for the information, I will definitely keep all that in mind while I’m training. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thank you all. Im excited to start training, it’s amazing how they know already what their noses are. I hide puppy treats and they seek it out. Other then that, until they get older it’s just letting them be puppies. My 12 year old is officially retired and living golden years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. After searching for sometime, I finally found want I was looking for. Two male litter mates, with Weir Creek bloodline. I went down to Virginia to pick them up this past weekend. With both dogs aging fast 12 and 8 I need to start something soon. I want to start earlier, but family wouldn’t allow it. So this fall I’ll be doing a lot of training, and a little less deer hunting. They will be in their prime by the time my youngest son is able to shoot his first rabbit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Growing up on a lake spent little to no time inside. Was always out on my dad’s 14 foot Gruman row boat. Had to be in before dark, and if I wasn’t I paid the price complements of my mom. When I wasn’t fishing, my buddy and I would ride our bikes down the road to a small farm a priest owned, with our pellet guns and kill chipmunks for 50 cents and squirrels for 75 cents out of all his flower beds. 9. Maybe it’s the Indian and not the arrow. [emoji1787] (if you can still say that without offending anybody). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, it’s pretty tasty. It’s not overwhelmingly Taylor Ham flavored Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. They are awesome weapons for sure. When my uncle passed I was willed a 760 Lefty model. Gave it to my cousin as everything was ass backwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
