Destroyed ground blind

I’m hunting a piece of public land in Gloucester county. There were 2 ground blinds about 100yards apart. Walking in to my spot at lunchtime today I passed one of the blinds. The blind was sliced up with a knife. When I left last night, it was perfect. I was curious so I went to see the other blind. That one was missing. I’m not sure if it’s anti’s (I had a bunch of my snare sets messed up and some were destroyed last year) or someone else. If anyone has a ground blind on a WMA field edge in zone 35, shoot me a PM and I’ll confirm if it’s yours. I’d hate for someone to go hunting and arrive to find the damage at 530am.

Pop ups on public land are tough.  I had two Brickhouse blinds sliced up in Zone 6 a couple of years back.

I have 2 theories on what happened:

 

1) One guy removed his blind and cut up the other guys blind for setting up too close.

2) The guy showed up and found his blind missing and assumed the other guy stole it and cut up his blind in retaliation.

 

Unfortunately, I think most of the crap that goes on is hunter on hunter crime. People love to blame anti's but in reality we are our own worst enemy.

Could very well be but I had some of my snares destroyed last year in Feb when no one was hunting. That’s my suspicion of a potential anti in the area.

 3).. a nearby Land owner cut up 1 blind and stole the other cause they were both trespassing on Public Land...

I had the same happen to me before the season. I have my suspicions but if you don't catch them there is not much anyone can do. A member here gave me a nice blind to replace it. Its been out in the same spot for awhile with a camera on it.
