Bandits Busted

I gave my friend permission to trap the perimeter of the Iowa farm. He set 10 traps and banged out 5 coons and 1 grinner. Not bad for the first day. He also found a shed. I asked him to keep away from the main food plots and sanctuary area so not to bump bucks about to shed off the farm. Well today's haul should result in more turkeys, pheasants and quail this spring.

Always wanted to trap in Iowa, I saw coons every night when hunting there, had three come up a tree I was in , and they all looked like bear cubs.

iowa is the coon capital. if you want to longline coon and do 100 per day that is the place to do it. maybe if the market comes back we can take a njw&w trip out to do some longlinging

Coyotes and bobcats. Some fox. The coyotes are pretty hard on the fox population. Here's day 2 of the haul.
