End of season kayak stripers !

With the back bays and river striper season closed until March 1st....I went out on Sunday morning, the 31st to spend a couple hours on the river.   It wound up being a great morning with 6 bass landed and too many hooked and lost to count.  But using a 3/4 ounce jig with small hooks, it's amazing that I landed any.

 

Nothing big but it was great to be out on the water !!  If the weather is good enough in January or February,  I may go out again and try for white perch in the river and hope that none of those pesky stripers hit my lures and jigs !!!   LOL
