Where to find detailed topo maps?

Any suggestions where to find large, topographic maps of Northern New Jersey? Something to hang up and put pins in. Hiking trails and park boundaries included would be a bonus!

OnX Hunt app is great and you can have it with you. Paper maps just google it but you will have to buy any good one

My father was a map collector, especially topo maps. I tossed them all out after his passing. I use the HuntStand app and it is all I will ever need.  But if you want to hang one on the wall, there are many that sell those.

Love looking at the old ones from early 1900's that were my grandfathers.  Amazing how built up NNJ got in 120 years.

HuntStand folks sell paper maps (quality of the paper depends on how much you want to spend - they have different types of paper). You put together a HuntStand hunting area with all your markups (pins and borders and whatnot) and you tell them you want it on paper. I believe you can get it with Topo base image (as opposed to satelitte imagery). I remember getting a coupon for some percentage off when I signed up for HuntStand Pro. You don't need a HuntStand subscription to buy their maps, I don't think.

Just getting into hunting, scouting some places in Zone 3. I prefer spreading a map out and looking over rather than scrolling satellite images. 

So, nowhere in particular but somewhere in zone 3!

Just use OnX. It’s so much better than anything else out there. You’ll never look back once you start with it. Trails, topos, aerial maps, land ownership, everything, all in one place.

I love the old topo maps. Years ago my dad bought them at atsion ranger station. I have two awesome topo maps. One is atsion, caranza  and batsto. The other is atco Wharton state forest!
