Need to split squirrel into 4 legs and 2 back pieces . Parboil for 30 minutes .

sauté in butter and onions on low for half hour so it’s tender .

you won’t have a piece left for the dogs .

when it’s cooked until it’s tender it’s as good or better than rabbit .

.growing up it was one of my favorites ,

‘with most squirrels now corn fed it should be even better .
